Clarence Thomas dropped one 2020 bombshell that could change everything
Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas is one of the most respected members of the Supreme Court.
Thomas is currently the longest serving Justice.
And Clarence Thomas dropped one 2020 bombshell that could change everything.
Clarence Thomas is the subject a new documentary “Created Equal: Clarence Thomas in His Own Words” which is expected to be released next year.
In the film, Thomas discusses how the Democrats used Anita Hill’s false allegations of sexual harassment to try and smear Thomas and ruin his confirmation chances.
In the hearing Thomas defended himself by declaring that the entire episode was a “high tech lynching of uppity blacks.”
Thomas expanded on that in the film and accused the Joe Biden-run committee of racial animosity by trying to destroy him because he was a black conservative.
The Hill reports:
“Do I have like stupid written on the back of my shirt? I mean come on. We know what this is all about,” Thomas said about the confirmation process. “People should just tell the truth: ‘This is the wrong black guy; he has to be destroyed.’ Just say it. Then now we’re at least honest with each other.”
He went on to argue that “the idea was to get rid of me.”
“And then after I was there, it was to undermine me,” he added.
Democrats can’t stand for the public to see black conservatives because it presents an alternative to the dominant Democrat Party narrative that Republicans are racists and only Democrats look out for minority voters.
Thomas’s powerful life story and ascension to the Supreme Court threatened the Left because Thomas could provide an example for other black voters to follow.
And since Democrats depend so heavily on the black vote as a major part of their political coalition any drop in support could prove fatal.
