Chuck Schumer made one late-night decision that took everyone by surprise
Chuck Schumer has spent the last six months trying to force Joe Biden’s far-left agenda through Congress.
Finally, the Democrats reached a fork in the road.
And Chuck Schumer made one late night decision that took everyone by surprise.
Late on Tuesday night, Schumer and the Democrats announced the framework for a $3.5 trillion budget reconciliation bill.
“We are very proud of this plan,” Schumer told reporters. “We know we have a long road to go. We’re going to get this done for the sake of making average Americans’ lives a whole lot better.”
When completed, Democrats plan to use the bill to expand government-run health care, create a cradle to grave welfare state, impose Green New Deal-style policies to cripple the American energy sector, and impose the largest tax increase in American history.
The Democrats’ job now is enticing 10 Republicans to support the bipartisan so-called “infrastructure” bill to keep Joe Manchin and Kyrsten Sinema on board for the $3.5 trillion spending binge that will require all 50 Democrats to remain united.
Democrats are pitching the Bernie Sanders $3.5 trillion welfare and Green New Deal bill as the biggest expansion of government since FDR and his New Deal from the Great Depression.
Inflation is already spiraling out of control.
And critics contend the Federal Reserve printing up another $4 trillion to finance these two pieces of legislation will only serve to devalue the dollar even more.
Democrats will attempt to press ahead anyway.
They know this legislation could be their last chance to massively expand government and push America one step closer to becoming a socialist nation.
