But Dr. Phil stepped into the political arena when he endorsed Donald Trump for President in 2024.

And Chris Cuomo was floored by what Dr. Phil revealed about the chemicals in the food we eat in America.

Donald Trump has been moving at break-neck speed as he works to clean up Joe Biden’s mess and get America back on track.

From illegal immigration to high inflation to foreign policy to soaring crime, Joe Biden created a whirlwind of problems for Donald Trump to deal with.

But Donald Trump is focusing on another major problem that started long before Joe Biden’s Presidency.

There’s a massive chronic disease epidemic in America.

Donald Trump selected Robert F. Kennedy Jr. as his Secretary of Health and Human Services and put him in charge of the Make America Healthy Again (MAHA) initiative.

“Over 70% of adults and 1/3 of children are overweight or obese, diabetes is 10 times more prevalent than it was during the 1960s, cancer among young people is rising by 1% or 2% a year, autoimmune diseases, neurodevelopmental disorders, Alzheimer’s, asthma, ADHD, depression, addiction, and a host of other physical and mental health conditions are all on the rise, some of them exponentially,” Kennedy Jr. said during his confirmation hearing. “President Trump is committed to restoring the American dream and 77 million Americans delivered a mandate to him to do just that, due in part to the embrace and elevation of the Make America Healthy Again movement.”

Even though he is a psychologist, Dr. Phil McGraw has been outspoken about the growing epidemic of Type 2 diabetes and the overmedication of children in the foster care system.

Dr. Phil is a big supporter of the MAHA movement and its goal.

During a recent appearance on Chris Cuomo’s show, Dr. Phil praised RFK Jr. and defended MAHA’s mission.

“We are one of the sickest generations of young people of any developed country,” Dr. Phil said. “I think we’re 33 out of 38 among developing countries.”

Dr. Phil responded to criticism over his support for Kennedy Jr. and MAHA.

“There aren’t any Democrat children, there aren’t any Republican children, they’re just American children,” he said. “This isn’t a political issue for me.”

He told Cuomo that it’s important for children to put down their phones and get “back outside in the fresh air and exercising.”

He also stressed the importance of “feeding them foods that aren’t processed.”

“We need to make sure that the chemicals that are in our foods are the ones that need to be there to keep the foods safe,” he added.

But then Dr. Phil revealed a terrifying fact about the amount of chemicals in the food we eat in America.

“There are probably 10,000 chemicals in our foods that aren’t in the foods in Europe,” he told Cuomo.

“Why do our foods look different than European foods?” he asked. “Why are the colors brighter? Why are there [other ingredients] in our foods, our cereals, and stuff?”

Dr. Phil said the reason is because of all the “dyes and chemicals” in American food “that they don’t have in these other countries.”

America has a massive health problem.

Chronic disease rates among children in the 1960s were around two to three percent.

Today, that number is approaching 40%.

But it doesn’t have to be this way.

Dr. Phil said this is “a serious problem that can be eliminated in one generation, if we’ll just do a few different things that are totally doable.”

And that is exactly the goal of Kennedy’s Make America Healthy Again (MAHA) initiative.
