Bud Light got hit with the bad news it never expected

Bud Light is in the middle of a mess it created that it cannot escape.
The company learned that when you go woke, you go broke.
And Bud Light got hit with the bad news it never expected.
The radical homosexual group the Human Rights Campaign previously awarded Anheuser-Busch a perfect 100 score on its Corporate Equality Index Score.
Woke corporations like Anheuser-Busch treasure these validations from radical left-wing groups because it means the professional grievance industrial complex will give them a pass.
But Anheuser-Busch’s efforts to appease the woke mob landed the company in trouble when it signed transgender social media influencer Dylan Mulvaney to a sponsorship deal.
Bud Light’s customers – normal Americans, who don’t think targeting young people with the message that transgenderism is cool, revolted.
A boycott ensued that tanked Bud Light sales by 28 percent according to the most recent data.
Anheuser-Busch went into immediate damage-control mode with the CEO apologizing and the company putting two woke marketing executives on a leave of absence and fired the third-party marketing vendor that proposed the Mulvaney fiasco.
Now Anheuser-Busch is getting hit on both sides.
The Human Rights Campaign responded by downgrading Anheuser-Busch’s Corporate Equality Index Score to 90.
Trending Politics reports:
According to the letter shared with USA Today on May 9, the HRC suspended Anheuser-Busch’s Corporate Equality Index score, which assesses companies on their policies towards LGBTQ employees. Companies that achieve a perfect score in the index’s four criteria, including workplace discrimination protections, inclusive benefits, inclusive culture, and responsible citizenship, receive the “Best Places to Work for LGBTQ+ Equality” seal of approval.
Anheuser-Busch, previously holding a perfect social credit score of 100, has been given 90 days to respond to the letter, or the HRC may further decrease its score. Anheuser-Busch did not comment on the HRC’s letter but mentioned having an employee resource group supporting LGBTQIA+ employees.
The woke left will not tolerate any dissent or deviation from their radical agenda.
Corporate America is a key ally in the Left’s culture war because the transgender agenda is not popular with the voters.
But leftists know that companies can force red states to yield by threatening economic boycotts and other retaliatory measures.
Corporations can always use their brand to advertise to young people and normalize transgenderism with slick marketing campaigns.
The Bud Light boycott was the first successful pushback on the woke takeover of the culture.
Left-wing organizations like the Human Rights Campaign are not going to sit idly and show that corporations can fold on the woke agenda in the face of boycotts.
