Brett Kavanaugh is about to make a decision that is the Democrats’ worst nightmare

The left’s doomsday scenario is here.

They fought to defeat Donald Trump because they were terrified of whom he would appoint to the Supreme Court.

Trump emerged victorious and now Brett Kavanaugh is about to make a decision that is the Democrats’ worst nightmare.

The Supreme Court announced it would take up a series of cases to determine if the 1964 Civil Rights Act applies to homosexual and transgender employees.

Politico reports:

The Supreme Court has agreed to take up a set of high-profile cases involving gay rights and the rights of transgender people in the workplace.

The justices announced Monday that they will consider whether existing federal law banning employment-related sex discrimination also prohibits discriminating against individuals on the basis of sexual orientation or because they are transgender.

The Supreme Court said it will hear a pair of cases in which federal appeals courts split over whether LBGTQ employees are protected by the Civil Rights Act of 1964.

The justices also accepted a case involving a transgender funeral home employee, saying they will consider whether being transgender is protected in itself or whether it falls within existing law against “sex stereotyping.”

The law does not cover sexual orientation.

Many Americans believe sexual orientation and gender identity are a choice.

The left wants to guarantee transgender and homosexual employees special rights under federal civil rights law so they can make it illegal for churches and other religious institutions to not hire homosexual or transgender individuals.

This is their way of getting around the First Amendment protections for Americans to worship free from government interference.

Your claim to be a biological anthropologist is interesting. For centuries mankind has known, understood and accepted gender/sex as male or female, depending on the chromosomal inheritance of the baby upon birth. For centuries mankind has recognized that some people choose to try to operate outside their inherited characteristics – homosexual behaviors. The issue here is not so much an issue of aberrant chromosomal inheritance as the lifestyle choices some people have made and now are trying to receive “special rights” under the law. No one should be given special rights over any one else in our country. LGBTQ are lifestyle choices. Those who espouse those choices should not be treated in any “special” manner. They should be given every right that every body else enjoys and no more.

There is an old saying that is apropos here. “The devil is in the details.” In this case the details are the rabid left and all un-Christian ideologies. The devil knows his time is nearing an end and is running rampant in our society as the United States has been for some time the last bastion of freedom and Christianity both of which do not encompass the mores of the far political left or the rest of the anti-Christ movements.

The US Constitution must stand regardless of what special groups want. There is no way to circumvent the constitution without breaking the law of the land. If you choose a different life style that is between you and your maker and has nothing to do with the general population.

For years this community of LBGTQ folks have attempted to get “special privileges” from the courts.. They pay their lobbyists very well for the progress made today with congress. How would you like your children being taught in grade school on up through Middle and High School by this community about “alternative life styles”? With increased numbers-comes greater bargaining power.. These folks are indeed special but the constitution –the last I knew does not confer more privileges by law than any other citizens of the USA.

Right on. Special rights – or rather superior rights – is POWER over others and does not belong under the American Flag.

Great point. That is why in my opinion, whether a private business or religious entity, they have the right to determine the requirements for employment as they see fit. Such as:

    * Dress code must be followed – Yes.
    * Able to lift 50lbs above your waist? Yes.
    * Speaks fluent (insert language here). – Yes

All of which means to me – there is absolutely no reason to provide for any “special” rights.

    Exactly correct.

  20. Tony Bell says:

“Special Rights” says it all, DISCRIMINATION!
    Not acceptable.
Too, religious doctrine is not discrimination. It is religious belief that must be allowed, freedom of religion.
