Brett Kavanaugh is about to get impeached over a bombshell new sex scandal
Democrats are still fighting to overturn the results of the 2016 Presidential Election.
A major front in that war on American democracy is the continuing smear campaign against Justice Brett Kavanaugh.
And now Brett Kavanaugh is about to get impeached over a bombshell new sex scandal.
Over the weekend, The New York Times turned the political world upside down by publishing excerpts from a book by Times reporters Kate Kelly and Robin Pogrebin about Kavanaugh’s life and the accusations against him.
Part of The Times’ essay included a passage where Max Stier claimed Kavanaugh pulled down his pants at a party and two friends pushed his penis into a female student’s hands.
Washington, D.C. exploded, with several Democrats demanding Congress impeach Kavanaugh.
The Hill reports:
Democratic presidential candidates on Sunday called for the impeachment or investigation of Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh after newly reported allegations of sexual misconduct against him in The New York Times.
The outlet reported late Saturday night that a male former classmate claims to have witnessed Kavanaugh expose himself at a party, where friends pushed his genitals against a woman without her consent.
Sens. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) and Kamala Harris (D-Calif.), former Housing and Urban Development Secretary Julián Castro, and former Rep. Beto O’Rourke (D-Texas) have all explicitly called for Kavanaugh’s impeachment.
South Bend, Ind., Mayor Pete Buttigieg told CNN that he supports impeachment Sunday evening.
But, of course, this was fake news.
The New York Times was forced to issue a correction stating that friends of the female student reported she did not recall the incident.
In addition, The Times did not inform their readers that Stier was a lawyer who defended Bill Clinton.
This story was a hoax and character assassination.
Its complete collapse led many Americans – including President Trump – to insist that Kavanaugh sue the fake news New York Times for libel.
