BREAKING: Deadly High-Speed Car chase on U.S.-Mexico border
The U.S. border with Mexico is turning into a war zone.
U.S. Border Patrol agents found themselves in a deadly 100 mph car chase on the southern border.
And the reason they got roped into this high-speed chase is sickening.
Attempting to flee Border Control, an SUV spun out of control and turned over multiple times, killing five people in the vehicle.
While this remains a breaking story, it is suspected that the SUV, which contained 14 people, was a vehicle smuggling illegal immigrants into the country.
The Express news reports:
“BIG WELLS, Texas (AP) — At least five people were killed and several others hurt Sunday as an SUV carrying more than a dozen people during a suspected “smuggling event” crashed while fleeing from Border Patrol agents in South Texas, authorities said.
The SUV carrying 14 people went out of control at more than 100 mph and overturned on Texas Highway 85, ejecting most of the occupants, Dimmit County Sheriff Marion Boyd said.
“From what we can tell the vehicle ran off the road and caught gravel and then tried to recorrect,” Boyd said, adding that “caused the vehicle to turn over several times.”
Four victims were dead at the scene, Boyd said. He said at least one and possibly two others died at a hospital.”
Sherriff Boyd even stated, “This, I think, is a perfect example, of why are borders need to be secured.”
Illegal immigrants are putting our men and women who serve in the border patrol, police, and even our military in danger.
Just last week a border patrol agent was shot in Arizona near the Mexican border.
Tucson Sector #USBP agent was shot this morning south of Arivaca, Arizona and transported to an area hospital for treatment. Several subjects in the area were taken into custody. Updates will be provided as information becomes available to @CBP. #HonorFirst pic.twitter.com/hnJlIUe1sO

President Donald Trump fully understands the threat that illegal immigration poses to our national security and economy.
Reckless and dangerous events such as these cannot continue along our southern border.
But Congress continues to drag their feet in funding the border wall. What do you think of the dangerous situation on our southern border?
