Billionaire politician just threatened ICE agents with one statement that will make you sick

The odds of a domestic war breaking out have scarcely been higher in this millenium than in recent years.
Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker just crossed a line no governor has dared cross before.
And the Billionaire politician JB Pritzker just threatened ICE agents with one statement that will make you sick.
Pritzker threatens future prosecutions of ICE agents enforcing federal law
Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker dropped a bombshell during an interview with FOX 32 Chicago that should alarm every American who believes in the rule of law.
The Democrat billionaire suggested his administration is actively exploring ways to criminally prosecute Department of Homeland Security officials and ICE agents for arresting illegal aliens in his sanctuary state.
"The tables will turn one day," Pritzker told reporter Paris Schutz in a chilling warning to federal law enforcement.¹
"These people should recognize that maybe they’re not gonna get prosecuted today, although we’re looking at doing that, but they may get prosecuted after the Trump administration because the statute of limitations would not have run out."¹
Let that sink in for a moment.
A sitting governor is threatening federal agents with criminal prosecution – not for violating the law, but for enforcing it.
Pritzker revealed he’s already in talks with Illinois Attorney General Kwame Raoul and other attorneys about launching a criminal investigation into ICE agents.¹
"We’re talking to the state’s attorneys and Attorney General to see how they can go at this because what we want to make sure is that they follow the law," Pritzker said.¹
Translation: He’s shopping for prosecutors willing to charge federal agents with crimes for carrying out federal immigration law.
Trump’s border czar fires back at Pritzker’s lawfare threats
Tom Homan, President Trump’s border czar, didn’t mince words when asked about Pritzker’s threats during an exclusive interview with Breitbart News.
"Whether it’s Pritzker, Newsom, Bass, or Brandon Johnson, you’re welcome for us making your communities safer," Homan said.² "If you want to sit on the sidelines and watch us make your communities safer, have at it. Shame on you."²
The numbers tell the real story Pritzker doesn’t want Illinois voters to know.
As of October 1, ICE agents have arrested more than 800 illegal aliens across Illinois.²
Those aren’t random arrests of people minding their own business.
The Department of Homeland Security revealed that since Operation Midway Blitz began in Illinois, ICE and CBP officers have arrested more than 1,000 illegal aliens – including some of the most dangerous criminals in the country.³
Yet Pritzker accused President Trump of "causing mayhem in the grounds of our state" and moving "toward an authoritarian regime in his own image."¹
The hypocrisy is stunning.
While Pritzker claims federal agents are the problem, attacks on ICE officers have skyrocketed by nearly 1000% as they remove violent criminals from Illinois streets.³
DHS Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin didn’t hold back in her response to Pritzker’s attacks.
"Our message to JB Pritzker: Get out of your mansion and see Chicago," McLaughlin said in a press release.³ "If J.B. Pritzker actually walked the streets of his own city, he would see domestic terrorists and violent rioters attacking police officers and the scourge of violent crime as a direct result of his own policies."³
The real reason behind Pritzker’s lawfare scheme against federal agents
Here’s what Pritzker won’t tell you about his sudden interest in prosecuting ICE agents: he’s running for president.
The billionaire governor has been positioning himself as the Democrat Party’s most aggressive Trump opponent for months.⁴
Pritzker headlined the New Hampshire Democratic Party’s major fundraising gala in April – a traditional stop for presidential candidates.⁵
He’s also given high-profile speeches in North Carolina, Wisconsin, Virginia, and Iowa while supposedly focusing on his 2026 reelection campaign.⁶
When pressed about a 2028 presidential run, Pritzker plays coy but never rules it out.
"I can’t rule anything out," he told NBC’s "Meet the Press."⁷
The strategy is transparent.
Pritzker is building his 2028 brand as the "resistance" candidate who stood up to Trump on immigration enforcement.
He needs red meat for the radical leftist base that dominates Democrat presidential primaries.
What better way to energize that base than threatening to jail ICE agents who dare enforce immigration law in sanctuary states?
The timing of these prosecution threats reveals the political calculation.
Pritzker made his move after more than 800 ICE arrests in Illinois and just as Texas National Guard troops deployed to Chicago to protect federal facilities from violent protesters.
He’s trying to intimidate ICE agents into backing off while simultaneously auditioning for 2028 by positioning himself to the left of California Governor Gavin Newsom and Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer.
But here’s the dangerous precedent Pritzker is setting.
If a state governor can threaten federal agents with prosecution years down the line for enforcing federal law, immigration enforcement becomes impossible.
Every ICE agent would have to weigh whether arresting a criminal illegal alien today might lead to state criminal charges when Democrats take back the White House.
It’s lawfare against law enforcement itself – using the threat of prosecution to paralyze federal officers from doing their jobs.
Legal experts point out that no state prosecutor has ever successfully prosecuted federal ICE agents for enforcing immigration law.⁸
The anti-commandeering principle established by the Supreme Court makes clear that states cannot force federal agents to violate federal law or punish them for following it.⁹
But Pritzker isn’t actually trying to win in court.
He’s trying to win in the 2028 Iowa caucuses and New Hampshire primary.
The criminal investigation threats are political theater designed to generate headlines and build his progressive credentials.
The real victims here aren’t just ICE agents facing bogus prosecution threats.
It’s every Illinois resident who has to live with the consequences of Pritzker’s sanctuary state policies while he uses their safety as a prop for his presidential ambitions.
