Many thought Kamala Harris was put in her place to ultimately take over when Biden’s mental condition could no longer be concealed.

Harris’ first year as Vice President, however, has been a complete disaster.

But Barack Obama sent Kamala Harris’ political career up in flames with what he just admitted about her.

On the ever-deteriorating border situation, Joe Biden certainly tried to shift the responsibility to Harris.

Harris, predictably, has been unable to resolve the issue caused by the White House administration and, in fact, has exacerbated it by mostly ignoring the crisis.

According to polls, the southern border issue, among other things, is contributing to Joe Biden’s declining poll ratings.

The Democrats are concerned.

Biden continues to mishandle every issue thrown his way, while Harris seems to be hiding.

This is where Barack Obama, the former President of the United States, comes in.

Obama attempted to assist his former right-hand guy by giving some cover, but in doing so, he only damned Harris.

“And the question is now: Are we gonna get serious about dealing with this problem in a systemic way, as opposed to these one-offs where we’re constantly reacting to emergencies? And I think that that’s something every American should wanna put an end to,” Obama stated in an interview with ABC.

But it wasn’t the scrutiny of how or when the Biden administration would address the issue at the southern border that stunned most of the audience; it was what the former President stated next.

“At the same time, we’re a nation state. We have borders. The idea that we can just have open borders is something that . . . as a practical matter, is unsustainable,” Obama concluded.

Barack Obama just threw Kamala Harris and the rest of the Biden administration to the wolves with a single remark.

If Obama believes open borders are “unsustainable,” then everything Joe Biden has done and endorsed contradicts the Democrat Party’s goal of keeping borders open.

Harris may need to rethink her strategy since she no longer has Obama’s backing, who many believed was aimed at edging Joe Biden out of the White House with the help of the Vice President.

Obama is no fool, and this is most likely his attempt to persuade the Democrat Party to take a tougher position on the southern border in order to shore up their dwindling poll ratings.

When it comes to gaining control of Congress, Barack Obama understands that you have to say anything to persuade people to vote your way.
