On Wednesday, U.S. Marshals arrested 26-year-old Nicholas John Roske for attempting to assassinate Justice Brett Kavanaugh.

Roske admitted he wanted to kill Justice Kavanaugh over his opposition to abortion and gun control.

The horror of a leftist nearly murdering a Supreme Court Justice did not cause one moment of self-reflection on the American Left.

Instead, pro-abortion activists doubled down on bullying conservative Supreme Court Justices.

Looking to exploit the fear from a deranged leftist nearly killing Kavanaugh, a left-wing street militia showed up outside the home of Amy Coney Barrett – where she lives with her husband and seven children – the day after the attempt on Kavanaugh’s life.

Protesting outside the home of a judge is a crime.

18 U.S. Code § 1507 – Picketing or parading reads:

Whoever, with the intent of interfering with, obstructing, or impeding the administration of justice, or with the intent of influencing any judge, juror, witness, or court officer, in the discharge of his duty, pickets or parades in or near a building housing a court of the United States, or in or near a building or residence occupied or used by such judge, juror, witness, or court officer, or with such intent uses any sound-truck or similar device or resorts to any other demonstration in or near any such building or residence, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than one year, or both.

Nothing in this section shall interfere with or prevent the exercise by any court of the United States of its power to punish for contempt.

The Biden administration could put an end to the threats on Supreme Court Justices at any moment.

All Attorney General Merrick Garland has to do is enforce 18 U.S. Code § 1507.

The real question is why does the DOJ refuse to enforce the law?
