Ilhan Omar doubles down on profane response to reporter
The “Maryland man” hoax is one of the biggest public relations debacles for the Democrat Party in recent memory.
Democrats seized on a story in The Atlantic that the Trump administration deported “Maryland man” and “father of three” Kilmer Abrego Garcia to a prison in El Salvador.
The sleight of hand the media tried to pull was conning Americans into thinking Trump was deporting innocent U.S. citizens to gulags in foreign nations.
But it turns out that Garcia was an illegal alien who snuck into America back in 2011.
Two different immigration judges ruled Garcia was a member of MS-13.
Garcia also faced a removal order.
Garcia received all the due process he was owed.
The Trump administration stood by the fact it deported an illegal alien terrorist back to his home country as fulfilling the mandate the voters handed the President.
To add insult to injury, Garcia wasn’t just a gang member.
Garcia’s wife sought a protective order against him in 2018 after Garcia allegedly beat her up.
Daily Caller reporter Myles Morrell confronted Omar about the “Maryland man” hoax.
Omar was none too pleased to have to answer for demanding Trump return an illegal alien gang member who allegedly beat his wife back to the United States.
“I think you should **** off,” Omar snarled.
“I’m sorry. What, Congresswoman?” Morell replied.
“**** off,” Omar shot back.
The clip went viral on social media.
For all the Democrat Party’s chest thumping about a free press being an essential party of democracy, Omar showed no contrition for cursing out a reporter.

The press obtained a recording of the court hearing in which Garcia’s wife, Jennifer Vasquez Sura , sought a protective order.
Its contents explain why Omar didn’t want to answer for embracing the “Maryland man” hoax.
“On Wednesday, he hit me, like around like, three in the morning, he would just wake up and like, hit me,” Sura told a judge.
Sura testified Garcia “grabbed me from my hair, and then he slapped me.”
“Once he came out, maybe like a month after he was out, he changed a lot with me and my kids,” Sura added. “He would yell at them, yell at me for anything, and any little thing.”
Democrats thought they could make Kilmer Abrego Garcia their poster child on immigration.
Garcia became a poster child.
Just not the kind the Democrats hoped, as Garcia being allowed to remain in America through Joe Biden’s term, when he was found to be a gang member and accused of beating his wife, came to symbolize the lax immigration enforcement that drove the American people to re-elect President Trump.
