Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez went on TV and said the one thing that left jaws on the ground
Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is the queen of the Democrat Party.
And everyone wanted to know her thoughts on the first night of the Democrat primary debate.
But what she said left every Democrat in a panic.
The first Democrat primary debate was a race to the left.
Candidates wanted to protect the right of transgender “men” – women who get surgery because they identify as men – to get abortions, abolish private health insurance, confiscate guns, open the borders, and reorder the American economy to be like the Soviet Union.
But that wasn’t far-left enough for Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.
In an appearance on Stephen Colbert’s “Late Show,” Ocasio-Cortez mocked certain candidates for “not reading the book” when called on at the debate.
OCASIO-CORTEZ: I think sometimes with the debate stage this big, it can kind of seem like a high school classroom, and so there are some folks that, like, didn’t seem like they read the book, and then they got called on. And then —
COLBERT: Anybody in particular?
OCASIO-CORTEZ: “You know, you kind of like— it depends on the question. So— so they’ll answer the question or they’ll get called on, and I don’t think some candidates thought that they were going to get called on, on a certain question. And they’ll be like, “Yes, the hero was courageous and the protagonist of the story.
Americans were puzzled by this reaction.
None of the leading candidates rejected socialism.
Everyone single one tried to prove their left-wing bona fides.
But given her power with the Democrat Party base, she has the power to end careers if she comes out strongly against a candidate.
And her interview with Colbert was a warning shot to every Democrat running for President that they better toe the socialist line.
