Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez just got smacked with a harsh reality that will end her career
Since getting into office, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has made a name for herself as a far-left extremist.
The socialist continues to make waves for her insane beliefs.
But things could all come crashing down after she got smacked with a harsh reality that will end her career.
Since endorsing Bernie Sanders for President, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has been working overtime to make it clear he is the most pro-open borders candidate running.
“Sen. Sanders is the only candidate to commit to breaking up ICE and CBP,” she said at a recent event.
This policy is de facto open borders, because without enforcement, borders mean nothing.
Ocasio-Cortez also claims that Sanders has long been a hero for this issue, claiming that “he has not become a progressive now because it is cool.”
But in making this claim Ocasio-Cortez ignores is that Sanders used to be a major supporter of strong border enforcement.
In 2015, he declares his opposition to open borders, claiming that it “would substantially lower wages in this country.”
So he may be advocating for open borders now, but he clearly hasn’t been a champion on the issue.
This isn’t the first time Ocasio-Cortez has made waves with her insensitive comments about the border, and ICE.
She has called for ICE to be abolished, comparing them to Nazi Germany by calling their detention centers “concentration camps.”
In a recent interview with Breitbart News, Dean Reuter, who is the author of “The Hidden Nazi: The Untold Story of America’s Deal with the Devil” fired back at Ocasio-Cortez’s rhetoric.
Breitbart’s Alex Marlow began the interview by stating “We’re bastardizing what it means [to be a Nazi], and we’re cheapening the [term] Nazi at an incredible level. It seems very dangerous to me.”
Reuther agreed with Marlow, adding:
“I agree with you. … I’ve heard expressions of what’s happening on the southern border as a concentration camp, and you’re right, it’s wrong to cheapen and start making comparisons to the Holocaust or what happened in the Holocaust. That’s not helpful.”
Not only do her comments cheapen the Holocaust, it incentives violence against ICE.
In July of last year, a 69-year-old self-described member of the violent terrorist organization Antifa firebombed an ICE facility in Tacoma, Washington.
The AR-15 rifle he brought with him malfunctioned before he could return fire at police officers who responded.
In his manifesto, the terrorist mirrored Ocasio-Cortez’s “concentration camp” claim.
All of these actions are actually causing major problems for Ocasio-Cortez.
Polling shows that the majority of voters, including Democrats support border enforcement.
