Al Sharpton made a racist attack against this black Republican
If there is one thing that drives Democrats bonkers it’s black Americans that support the GOP.
Democrats believe they are owed the support of every black voter in America due to identity politics.
And now Al Sharpton made a racist attack against this black Republican.
Sen. Tim Scott (R-SC) dropped out of the Presidential race and endorsed former President Donald Trump.
Candidates failing to gain traction, leaving the race, and endorsing who they perceive to be the winner in hopes of landing a plum position in the next administration is a political dance that’s been going on for decades.
But when Republicans endorse Trump, the media attacks them for being obsequious or toadies for Trump as the press is 100 percent committed to defeating him and it enrages journalists when Republicans won’t help them achieve their number one goal.
Tim Scott stood behind Trump as he delivered his victory speech following his blowout victory over former South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley in the New Hampshire Primary.
Scott playing a role countless other failed Presidential candidates have in the past broke the brains of Trump haters in the media.
Over on MSNBC Al Sharpton – who has a history of racist and anti-Semitic controversies – pushed the obligatory falsehood about Trump suffering from cognitive decline before attacking Scott for engaging in the simple act of supporting the candidate he endorsed.
“Obviously Trump winning by double digits was not unexpected. I think Haley did a little better than some of the polls had, but she didn’t make it. I think that the fact that she pledged to keep running is in many ways the ultimate insult to Donald Trump because he wants everyone to just prostrate and bow to him and say now it’s over. What he’s really concerned about is his four cases. I think that when you watched his speech and how he tends to now ramble and go off the rails, you really are beginning to wonder if this is more than just some of us that politically oppose him, whether there’s really something that has gotten to him. He doesn’t seem to be able to be coherent for a long amount of time. I think that he will be the nominee and I think he’s demanding people bow to him. There are few moments in my life I have been more embarrassed than to watch Tim Scott.”
During the speech, Scott’s praise of Trump left Sharpton fuming.
“It was humiliating to watch what Tim Scott did as a sitting Senator. One time he wasn’t even on the script. He interrupted Trump to pay homage. So I had to say that because it’s bothered me all night,” Sharpton.
The media takes every event in Trump’s political career and tries to fabricate a scandal out of it.
Attacking Tim Scott because he praised a candidate he endorsed for President is just the latest sorry example.
