A judge just hit Hillary Clinton with this game-changing ruling
Hillary Clinton is no stranger to scandals and investigations.
Now one long-running legal proceeding is over.
And a judge just hit Hillary Clinton with this game-changing ruling.
In March of last year, Donald Trump filed a $24 million lawsuit against Hillary Clinton and 27 other defendants over the Russian collusion hoax.
Trump’s lawsuit named Clinton, her campaign, the DNC, the law firm Perkins Coie, Fusion GPS, Christopher Steele, and others as part of “a malicious conspiracy to disseminate patently false and injurious information about Donald J. Trump and his campaign, all in the hopes of destroying his life, his political career and rigging the 2016 Presidential Election in favor of Hillary Clinton.”
But Judge Donald Middlebrooks, who was appointed by Bill Clinton, tossed the suit against every defendant except the United States government and sanctioned Trump and his attorney Alina Habba with a nearly $1,000,000 fine.
Along with Clinton and the DNC, other defendants included former DNC Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz, Clinton campaign chief John Podesta, the Perkins Coie law firm, the Fusion GPS research firm, Christopher Steele, and several former FBI officials, including James Comey, Andrew McCabe, Peter Strzok, and Lisa Page.
Bill Clinton-appointed Middlebrooks on Thursday imposed $937,989.39 in sanctions, for which Trump and his lead attorney, Alina Habba of Habba Madaio & Associates, are “jointly and severally liable.”
The Democrat-appointed judge tore into Trump and Habba for filing the lawsuit.
“This case should never have been brought. Its inadequacy as a legal claim was evident from the start. No reasonable lawyer would have filed it,” Middlebrooks ranted. “Intended for a political purpose, none of the counts of the amended complaint stated a cognizable legal claim.”
Ever since it became clear that the idea Trump colluded with the Russians was a hoax cooked up by the Clinton campaign and then carried on by the FBI to overthrow his Presidency, Democrats have closed ranks to make sure no one was held accountable.
A judge in heavily Democrat Washington, D.C. let a FBI lawyer who doctored evidence to help obtain a FISA warrant to spy on former Trump campaign aide Carter Page off the hook.
Juries in Washington, D.C. were stacked with Clinton supporters and acquitted the campaign lawyer and the researcher who helped Christopher Steele put together his hoax dossier of making false statements to the FBI.
And now a Bill Clinton-appointed judge just issued a ruling that prevents key Democrats from testifying or having to turn over documents as part of the discovery process.
