A Fox New host is going to seriously regret what he just said on the air about Donald Trump

Many viewers are wondering if Fox News is turning on Donald Trump.

There has been a shift in some editorial commentary.

And this Fox New host is going to seriously regret what he just said on the air about Donald Trump.

Fox News Special Report host Brett Baier gushed about January 6 Committee witness Cassidy Hutchinson.

Hutchinson painted a picture of a deranged Trump welcoming violence in a desperate bid to hold on to power.

Hutchinson claimed White House Deputy Chief-of-Staff Tony Ornato told her Trump attacked his Secret Service detail when they would not drive him to the Capitol following his speech at the rally.

In her testimony, Hutchinson claimed Trump tried to choke Bobby Engel, the head of his protective detail, and lunged for the steering wheel in an effort to commandeer the vehicle.

Trump denied this testimony from Hutchinson as 100 percent false on his Truth Social platform.

Brett Baier mocked Trump’s denial and claimed Hutchinson’s testimony was air tight because it was given under oath.

“We are now hearing from the former President on various posts where he questions her accuracy,” Baier told viewers. “He goes after her directly. He says he doesn’t know who she is and said he didn’t lunge at the Secret Service agent in The Beast. That didn’t happen, he says. He didn’t throw his lunch against the wall, that didn’t happen and that she’s lying.”

“Cassidy Hutchinson is under oath on Capitol Hill. The President is on Truth Social making his statements,” Baier added.

“This testimony was significant,” Baier concluded.

But Brett Baier was wrong.

Both Engel and Ornato claimed they would testify that Donald Trump never assaulted them and that the incident Hutchinson described never happened.

“A source close to the Secret Service tells me both Bobby Engel, the lead agent, and the presidential limousine/SUV driver are prepared to testify under oath that neither man was assaulted and that Mr. Trump never lunged for the steering wheel,” NBC’s Peter Alexander exclusively reported.

“UPDATE: A Secret Service official familiar with the matter told CNN that Tony Ornato denies telling Cassidy Hutchinson that the former president grabbed the steering wheel or an agent on his detail,” CNN’s Shimon Prokupecz wrote on social media.
