A Florida man posted one shocking message on social media that got the FBI knocking at his door

Trump's ICE crackdown sparked a violent backlash from the radical left.
Federal agents are facing unprecedented danger in the line of duty.
And this Florida man's online threats put him behind bars for one disturbing reason.
Homeland Security arrests Florida man over violent ICE threats
Homeland Security Investigations special agents arrested Joseph Giancola in Fort Myers, Florida, after he allegedly posted multiple death threats against Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers.
Giancola used the leftist social media platform Bluesky to post the violent messages under the pseudonym "Cain Delon."¹
The arrest came as DHS revealed ICE officers are now facing an 8,000% increase in death threats and a 1,000% increase in physical assaults.²
"This cowardly individual made repeated disgusting death threats against ICE law enforcement officers," DHS Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin stated. "He is now in federal custody and will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law."³
Giancola's alleged posts included calls to "Shoot the ICE Nazis down like the rabid dogs they are," "Start by shooting ice thugs dead," and "They come near me, and I shoot to kill. Be warned."⁴
Federal prosecutors are preparing charges against Giancola related to making interstate threats.
The Fort Myers raid happened around 6:00 a.m. at a home on Chiquita Boulevard in Cape Coral.
Giancola appeared in federal court and was released with strict conditions barring him from internet access, requiring him to surrender his passport, and prohibiting firearm possession.⁵
Democrats’ inflammatory rhetoric
The surge in threats and violence against ICE officers didn't happen in a vacuum.
For months, DHS officials have warned Democrat politicians to tone down their dangerous rhetoric comparing ICE agents to Nazis and the Gestapo.
The consequences have been deadly.
Minnesota Governor Tim Walz repeatedly called ICE "Trump's modern-day Gestapo."⁶
Boston Mayor Michelle Wu compared ICE agents to the neo-Nazi group NSC-131.⁷
Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson accused ICE of being "secret police" who are "terrorizing our communities."⁸
House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries told supporters to "fight" the Trump Administration "in the streets" and declared ICE agents "will be unsuccessful" in protecting their identities "no matter what it takes."⁹
U.S. Representative Jasmine Crockett compared ICE to "slave patrols."¹⁰
U.S. Representative Pramila Jayapal called ICE agents "deranged" and said it's "inspiring" to obstruct immigration enforcement.¹¹
The Trump Administration has documented dozens of violent attacks on ICE facilities since taking office.
On July 4, armed terrorists ambushed officers at an ICE facility in Alvarado, Texas, opening fire and wounding a police officer in the neck.¹²
Just weeks ago, a sniper opened fire on an ICE detention center in Dallas, killing two detainees, though federal officials believe immigration agents were his target.¹³
One ICE officer in California was dragged by a car during an arrest.¹⁴
Another agent in Omaha was slammed to the ground and hospitalized.¹⁵
In Portland, Oregon, ICE officers have been repeatedly doxed and threatened by antifa-affiliated groups who posted their pictures, personal addresses, and threatened their families.¹⁶
One officer had someone dump trash on his lawn with signs reading "F**k you" along with the officer's name.¹⁷
Eduardo Aguilar, an illegal alien from Mexico, was arrested in Dallas after posting on TikTok offering "$10K for each ICE agent" and soliciting "10 dudes in Dallas with determination" to murder federal officers.¹⁸
The White House released a comprehensive list documenting the violent rhetoric from Democrat politicians that has fueled this unprecedented wave of violence against federal law enforcement.
"Mainstream media lies and hysterical political rhetoric are directly contributing to a massive surge in attacks on federal immigration enforcement officers," DHS stated in July.¹⁹
Trump Administration refuses to back down
President Trump and his administration have made clear they won't be deterred by threats and violence.
Attorney General Pam Bondi ordered the deployment of additional federal agents to protect ICE facilities and vowed to prosecute anyone who assaults or threatens federal officers to the fullest extent of the law.²⁰
Acting ICE Director Todd Lyons issued a stark message to politicians and activists: "For months, [I have] asked politicians and activists to tone down their dangerous rhetoric. Comparing federal law enforcement officers to vile war criminals of the past is disingenuous and irresponsible."²¹
ICE agents are simply enforcing laws passed by Congress.
They're removing murderers, rapists, pedophiles, terrorists, and gang members from American communities every single day.
And Democrats have made them targets because they're doing exactly what Trump promised voters he would do – secure the border and deport dangerous criminals who entered the country illegally.
White House deportation czar Tom Homan announced the Trump administration is on track to deport 600,000 illegal aliens by the end of 2025.²²
The message to the radical left is clear: threats and violence won't stop ICE from enforcing immigration law.
Every person who assaults or threatens ICE agents will face federal prosecution.
And Democrats who continue demonizing law enforcement officers will own the consequences when their rhetoric inspires the next attack.
