Joe Biden green-lights attacks inside Russia with American weapons by Ukraine 

President-elect Donald Trump won the election promising to quickly bring the war between Russia and Ukraine to a peaceful conclusion. 

That job is getting harder because of another reckless decision by President Joe Biden. 

He gave Ukraine’s military the go-ahead to use the American-made Army Tactical Missile System (ATACMS) for strikes inside Russia. 

This is a dangerous new escalation in a war that the incoming Trump administration hoped had been winding down. 

Ukraine fired six ATACMS missiles shortly after getting approval from Biden at a facility in the Bryansk region of Russia. 

Allowing strikes inside Russia with American-made weapons was previously the stuff of Cold War fiction. 

American military officials have been worried that allowing Ukraine to begin using ATACMS inside Russia would be a dangerous provocation against Russia and would deplete American stockpiles. 

The Ukrainians are almost certainly firing these advanced missiles with American assistance. 

The Russian government had drawn a line in the sand about further escalation. 

Russian President Vladimir Putin said his country would consider any attack inside his country by Ukraine with the help of a nuclear power as an attack by both countries. 

The Russian Defense Ministry announced that the country had changed its nuclear weapons doctrine after the ATACMS strike to include a potential nuclear response to foreign missiles being used within its borders. 

“The use of Western non-nuclear rockets by the Armed Forces of Ukraine against Russia can prompt a nuclear response,” Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov stated. 

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov warned that the ATACMS strike was a sign that the West wanted to escalate the war. 

“It is impossible to use these high-tech missiles without the Americans, as Putin has repeatedly said,” Lavrov said.

Biden slammed for his unnecessary escalation in Ukraine 

Trump’s former acting Director of National Intelligence Ric Grenell is rumored to be in the running for another high-level foreign policy or national security position in the President-elect’s new administration. 

He slammed Biden for escalating the war out of nowhere in his final days in office. 

“​​No one anticipated that Joe Biden would ESCALATE the war in Ukraine during the transition period. This is as if he is launching a whole new war,” Grenell wrote on X. “Everything has changed now – all previous calculations are null and void. And all for politics.”

Donald Trump, Jr. ripped Biden for trying to start World War III.

“The Military Industrial Complex seems to want to make sure they get World War 3 going before my father has a chance to create peace and save lives. Gotta lock in those $Trillions. Life be damned!!! Imbeciles!” Trump Jr. wrote on X. 

Representative Thomas Massie called the escalation an “impeachable offense.”

“By authorizing long range missiles to strike inside Russia, Biden is committing an unconstitutional Act of War that endangers the lives of all U.S. citizens. This is an impeachable offense, but the reality is he’s an emasculated puppet of a deep state,” Massie wrote on X.

Joe Biden is leaving office with the world aflame and creating a more difficult situation for Donald Trump to solve when he takes office in January.
